Original Landing Page Issues
- Average user logged on less than once a month
- Average user only completed 6 courses a year
- Only 1/3 of users were compliant with their courses
- Users were not taking elective courses
- No user testing was being done at Relias

Gaming Elements
- Personalized Crest decorated with seals earned from each course
- Coins to buy decor and crest outlines, more coins gained the earlier the course was completed
- Overall level increases as the user takes more courses- higher level unlocks more complex seals that can be earned
- Team leader board based on compliance and exam score, clients can customize their teams
- Competitive and cooperative

- Compliance increased by 300%
- Average courses taken per user increased by 163%
- Updated UI that provided a standard across the entire system

Administrator Experience Redesign and Search Filters at Relias

Issues:
- Convoluted and gave our naive users too much to do
- Menus within menus, unclear how each is related
- Inconsistent and redundant terminology
- Admins weren't using the feature without calling client care
Results:
- Users who could complete the navigation test search by filter increased by over 100%
- Icons were added for ease of understanding- 20% of users had English as a second language

General Responsibilites at Relias
- Manage and guide two other associate UX Designers through basic design as they begin their career in UX.
- Established a user research and testing protocol, and increased user testing from 0 to over 10,000.
- Led, interpreted, and incorporated user feedback, gathered from in-person, navigation, and a/b tests.
- Presented monthly to the Executive Leadership Team and delivered updates on current project status.
- Collaborated with the Product Management and Engineering Teams to execute and iterate on designs.
- Balanced business goals and client goals and to design and create features that would bring value to both.
- Trained Relias employees in basic UX principles, software, and practices such as interaction and UI design.
